After many careers and fields of work I have morphed into being a combination of professional organiser / educator / support worker. I work with people to overcome the barriers they face as they progress towards their goals.
I work 1:1 with people in their homes, facilitating self-knowledge and the development of personal resources, as we design and implement a plan to address the issues being faced on a daily basis. I have a non-judgemental style and an optimistic up-beat attitude. I take a person-centred approach in all my work and focus on upholding each person's dignity and rights. I believe each person should be empowered to exercise control over their own life and be supported to undertake informed decision-making whenever possible. |
